Several PCs may lose Internet access from Monday

Here is an important message to all speak asia mobi-club visitors. According to Antivirus company McAfee, “Thousands of computers in India, which are hit by a malicious virus DNSChanger, may lose Internet access from Monday. DNSChanger is a malware computer program that redirect the Internet traffic to fake websites. These affected machines are likely lose Web access as FBI will shut down servers associated with the DNSChanger malware on July 9. As a result, it is likely that all computers infected with this threat will no longer be able to access the Internet.

How to avoid losing Internet access:

Step 1 : Check it from this site : http://www.dns-ok.us/

Check manually: For XP Users, For Widows 7 users, For MAC OS

Step 2 : Check result:

If you see green colour, your computer is clean.

If you see red colour, then your computer may be infected.

You should visit following page for instructions on how to fix your computer:
http://www.dcwg.org/fix/

But remember, you should check this immediately, because in case if your PC is infected, you won’t be able to access internet connection after 9th July.
